adult in training

this past year has been life changing. and i don't mean like, witnessed a giraffe give birth on the African grasslands whilst sitting next to Oprah, but just, change in life. every aspect of life. as in, don't get too comfortable, because you're on the high speed train to adulthood, destination higher tax bracket and cooking things using something other than a microwave.

and i don't mean to boast here, but i actually do when i tell you i graduated university, bought a condo, bought a new car, got a real job, and finally got a fucking queen sized bed, all with my sanity still intact.

i was babysitting 3 little girls last weekend, who seemed mesmoreized by grown up life, and they told me that since i have my own place, and a job, i now need to have a husband so i can have children. so that's that, my life is all mapped out for me by a child with a candy stained tongue, and terrible coloring abilities.

if you color out of the lines, it looks stupid and the picture is ruined, PS you're adopted.

i tried to get the girls to make me a Caesar, because i was busy sun tanning, but they only knew how to make a Caesar salad, and even that was shifty. im a drunk, not a rabbit.

im still getting used to being out in the "real world." i don't think it will officially hit me until im fully moved out of my parents house, but for now, im going to keep doing my thing, being a twentythreeteen year old.

the other day mama asked me if i wanted to go furniture shopping with her for my new condo, in which the obvious answer from me was, "if i have to put pants on, the answer is no."

i mean, AM I RIGHT?

this whole grownup thing has been fun, but I gotta go now..

xoxo, the damsel
