I'm just going to come right out and say it. if you have class at 8am, on the seventh floor, it is fully acceptable to be taking the elevator. if, however, you have class on the second floor, and decide to take the elevator for shits and giggles.. no.
hit the road asshole.
or stairs i should say.
whats wrong with stairs? i do not understand. stair climbing should be encouraged, as we should all be making a more conscience effort to be healthier, and perhaps, tighten the ol' glutes. Unless you are Heidi Klum, or have class at 8am on the seventh floor.
elevators are not my cup of tea, and i usually do take the stairs, i swear. but when you arrive at school 3 minutes before class, you do not necessarily want to show up late with pit stains and burnt hand skin from the spilled coffee, from trying your best to portray the decathlete slash cute student look by attempting the stairs. so i usually opt for the elevator.
so. the elevator.
it's kind of a hard process to put into words, its sort of something you would have to experience on your own. but i will try my best.
you manage to squeeze your way to the front of the line, thinking you secured a nice spot in the elevator, and then BOOM, doors open, and somehow you have landed a first-class spot in the back left corner, with limbs everywhere and peoples faces all up in your grill.
it is usually around this time when you discover that morning showers are not a regular occurrence for at least 95% of the people joining you on your ride up, and you are forced to inhale the sweet smell of human flesh marinated in cologne, disguising the fact they got fucking tuned last night at a rez party.
the elevator is sort of like when cows are so eager to get out of their pens they will ram any other object in sight, and once the latch is open, they willingly force themselves into a lineup, thinking they are clever by being the first, and then BOOM they realize they have a one way ticket to the castration house.
patience is a virtue, kids.
xoxo, the damsel
